Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to improve fairness and stablity of TCP best-effortservice, we formaly proposed a new congestion control mecanism using packed mechanism using packed loss information obtained from Selective Acknowledements(SACK), and have already reported its basic effectiveness. The proposed scheme is for an environment consisting of Rndom Early Detection(RED) routers which drop each arriving packet with a certain probabilty after a threshold. To evaluate effectiveness of proposed method, we simulate not only SACK-TCP and proposed TCP but also Reno-TCP without SACK option, by using a more realistic simulation topology. Then we statisticaly analize the simulation results.
