Abstract(in English) There are many obstacles preventing us from meeting with lab members just to see and chat in a research type cooperative work, because of separate office environment, being away from one's own desk and having a hectic schedule. This report proposes. "Virtual Shadow" which is a location-oriented face icon whose position displayed on a Virtual Lab (VILLA) layout reflects the real position of icon owner of the lab member. A person's schedule information accessible through the Virtual Shadow icon as well as location information helps to offer more contact opportunities among members.
