Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing a new human and computer interaction system CoSMoS that allows a user to use a stick for an input device. The system has a color CCD camera and tracks the stick in an image. From the result it calculates three-dimensional coordinates of the stick. In this paper, we propose a manipulation method of virtual objects using the stick coordinates and voice commands. For instance, we design a command system for a block world. We consider the usability of the method on a prototype system.
