| 抄録(英) | We have developed a vibratory tactile display that produces tactile sensation to the fingertip by a vibrating pin array. This paper describes two display techniques for textures that includes multi-level stimulus intensity. One is a method that uses a dithered image to present intensity levels with binary vibration points. A tentative experiment was conducted to find a power index of Stevens' power law in this display technique. The other is based on a sensation intensity scaling obtained through vibration amplitude control. With the equal interval scale, we examined a discrimination of different curvatures of line along which the sensation intensity was varied continuously to prove the scaling had been properly made for presenting a multi-level sensation. |
