Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many researchers have reported Free-Form Deformation Method for 3D-surface material such as paper and cloth, and the way of computer graphics representation for the process of deformation. In this paper, a deformation method considering comprehensively three dynamic characteristics, that is elasticity, plasticity, and viscosity, of a material is discussed Three dynamic characteristics are described as three simple parameters, and Finite Element Method being often used in the field of elastic analysis is used. Thus, three dynamic characteristics are treated comprehensively by changing values of three parameters. Moreover, interaction among surfaces is also considered in the process of deformation. By using the proposed method, changing any value of three parameters, it will be possible to deform of real and virtual material.
