| 抄録(和) | 本犒では,モデルベース符号化の際に使用されるワイヤーフレームモデルの自動変形に必要な情報を抽出するために.1枚の顏写真から顔や目,口といった顔の構成部品の位置を自動的に検出し,その部品の輪郭を抽出する手法を提案する.本手法は大別すると,トップダウン的な探索方法による顔構成部品の位置探索とSNAKEモデルを用いた輪郭抽出,の2つの部分から構成されている.本手法は,輪郭抽出にSNAKEを使用しているので簡潔である上に.さまざまな顔画像に比較的柔軟に対応できるという特長を持つ.さらに本稿では,本手法を用いて実際の顏画像に対する顔構成部品の輪郭抽出実験を行っている. |
| 抄録(英) | The automatic extraction of facial information is required to modify the wireframe model in model based image coding. This paper proposes a method to identify the positions of facial components such as face, eyes and mouth and to extract contours of them. The method consists of two parts: One part is the top-down search algorithm using color information to detect positions of facial components from the Original face image. The other is the Contour extraction of detected Components using SNAKE model. Experimental results reveal that the proposed method is effective and encouraging toward the reliable extraction of facial components. |
