Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A working environment for human operators with electronic gloves was developed to allow 3 basic actions such as gesture, position pointing, and size indication. The virtual modeling environment implemented on the basis of these actions enables the operators to work with simplified objects directly, providing easy formation of virtual space with less time and efforts. This paper describes the overview of the virtual object formation system with the electronic paired-gloves interface, showing how this system is applied to a virtual fireworks system, and concluding with the discussion on this interface.
