| 抄録(和) | 著者らは表情を介した感情対話型マンマシンシステムの開発を試みた。本システムはコンピュータへの入力を表情によって行い、単眼視画像処理により人の感情を判断する。それに対応して、コンピュータも表情によって応答するという機能を持つ。扱う表情は人間の最も基本的な感情を表すといわれる6基本表情に限定した。これらの表情と頭部動作(うなずく、首をかしげる等)を同時に扱った。表情はFACS(facial Action Coding System)のAU(Action Unit)に基づいて構成されるため顔表情を構造的に扱うことができる。今後は擬人化されたシステムのユーザインタフェースや遠隔地との表情通信などへの応用が考えられる。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this study the authors develop the emotional interaction man-machine system using facial expression. By employing input function of facial expression into the computer, this system recognizes human emotional feelings by image processing and responds to it by facial expression of graphics. In this system, there are six expressions (happiness, surprise, fear, anger, disgust, sadness) which includes most basic human emotional feelings, and these ex-pressions with head motions (nodding, tilting one's head, etc. ) are dealt with. The facial expression can be treated structurally because it is based on AU (Action Unit) of FACS (Facial Action Coding System). This system will be applied to user interface for personification of computer systems and to facial expression communication systems. |
