Abstract(in English) | This article proposes a fire model in computer graphics, which can represent various shapes of fire and shadows by fire. In the first place, we assume that a fire consists of a set of particles. In consideration with combustion property, we form a shape of fire by simulating the particles. From the shape, we define its surface as a set of plane light, in order to apply the fire to a light source in ray tracing. |
