Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing application software based on real-time computer graphics, especially, which can be executed on portable personal computers. The problems are how to decrease the production cost of 3D models, how to improve reality of virtual spaces, and how to maintain frame rate on walk-through, etc. We developed a technique which generates virtual space for real-time computer graphics semi-automatically. In our technique, several indoor photographs taken by a digital camera etc. are utilized effectively. Use of photographs enables to build 3D virtual space by few polygons. Our technique can be applied to facility management system, industrial design assistant system, etc.
