MPEG Encoding method for Media Synchronization on Multimedia System

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes media synchronization method for MPEG video stored in distributed databases in computer network, and also proposes multimedia system for the media synchronization. Media synchronization is realized if some part of the media data can be cut off by bitstream sealing. In this paper, we propose a new bitstream sealing method for MPEG video, which can reduce the frame rate and bit rate of MPEG video while keeping the quality of pictures. And we also propose a new encoding method of MPEG video, which considers the bitstream sealing. By using the constructed multimedia system, it is verified that media synchronization is realized even though the date transmission rate of the network and the load of the system vary.
