Abstract(in English) The Media Controller is a distributed multimedia surveillance system which is designed for industrial applications. In this paper, we describe the architecture of video data recording and the data management method in Media Controller. The proposed architecture meets the distinctive requirement of video surveillance application. It is based on the distributed recording of video data. We also proposed a video data management method, which uses time intervals to manage video data efficiently, and enables global search of them. The prototype of Media Controller confirmed the effectiveness of the architecture and the management method.
