Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a wearable healthcare management system using wearable vital-sign sensor module and PDA(Personal Digital Assistants) for managing patients of life-style-related disease. The wearable sensor module is wrist-watch style and has an acceleration sensor and some kinds of vital-sign sensors, and sends data to PDA by wireless on Bluetooth. PDA can manage user's health status and a balance of use and uptake calories using the send data on time. And we developed an algorithm detecting a start of meal from pulse rate and GSR to lose user's load of self-care by reminding to input meal menu to PDA or to dose medicine.
