Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Generally, the mouse is most used as pointing device in GUI system. Recently mouse resolution becomes higher. So it's difficult to move with single pixel accuracy. In this paper, we propose a new software method aimed to reduce pointing errors in precision work and implement it in XFree86. Our method detects precision mouse operation and lowers mouse resolution by software. As a result of experiments, it is proved that our method reduces pointing error without losing time.
