Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we discuss about communication between users in collaborative augmented reality environment with virtual object manipulation task. In general user's face are not visible when they ware HMD. Also people who don't wear HMD cannot understand user's action, since virtual objects are not visible for them. Furthermore virtual objects sometimes occlude real objects which should occlude the virtual objects to keep consistency of depth information. We have started to consider of the impact of these issues for collaboration in augmented reality environment. We had small experiments to see about that. As a result, we figured out occlusion inconsistency and monocular image display for HMDs make a communication seam between users.
