| 抄録(和) | 口唇裂・口蓋裂児(者)の多くは, 唇裂鼻と呼ばれる独特の形状の鼻をしている.鼻の変形を指摘されたりからかわれたりすることが, 彼らの対人コミュニケーションの問題を引き起こしている可能性が考えられる.本研究では, どのような形状の鼻が知覚的に顕著であるかを実験的に検討するため, 平均顔に口唇裂・口蓋裂児の鼻を入れ替えた顔刺激と平均顔との同時提示異同判断課題を女子大学生21名を被験者として行った.その結果, 鼻孔の形状による左右非対称性や鼻尖と鼻柱基部の水平方向へのズレによる左右非対称が大きい場合に, 平均顔の異判断が容易になることが示された. |
| 抄録(英) | Cleft lip and palate patients often present with unique noses. Many CLP patients have experienced having the uniqueness of their noses pointed out and/or having their noses joked about by their peers. These experiences affect and reduce their inter-personal communication skills. This experiment aimed to examine what shapes of cleft lip noses were perceptually salient. Twenty-one female undergraduates were presented simultaneously with two faces and asked to determine any differences between the two faces. The stimulus faces were constructed by embedding the CLP patients'noses into the average faces. The results suggest the deformities of the CLP patients'noses are more distinctive, when the shapes of the nostrils are bilateral asymmetrical and/or a horizontal deviation between the nasal tip and the base of columella is high. |
