Subjective evaluation of speech transmission quality with "Listening Difficulty" and its problems in reverbaratory fields

Abstract(in English) When the percent correct of speech recognition test such as word intelligibility test is used to evaluate the speech transmission quality in rooms, it shows high score and its plat home even if the condition should be maintained. The idea of "Listening Difficulty", which presents the rate how often speech in certain condition make people feel difficult to listen to it, is presented in this study as a subjective evaluation method of speech transmission quality. "Listening Difficulty" are examined for its scattering caused by the way of presentation of stimuli in listening test in this study. The result shows that "Listening Difficulty" is decided relatively by listeners in the experimental conditions and should be improved as an absolute indicator.
