Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Self-motion perception is known as the perception that is integrated from visual, postural and somatic information. However, whether auditory information including spatial information produces self-motion has not investigated. To investigate this, we presented auditory stimuli producing a moving sound image to examine whether self-motion is perceived by subjects without visual information. Self-motion was assessed by subjective category scale as well as sway of gravity induced by body movement as an objective measure.
