Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to present auditory and visual information simultaneously in virtual reality systems.Mateeff et al.has reported that a small moving figure made an induction of sound motion in the direction of the square.Such result however, do not specify sensation of sound motion presented with optical flow on large screen. We investigated whether two kinds of visual changing(a moving square and optical flow)affect sensation of sound motion. Results indicated that a moving square made an induction of sound motion in the direction of the square, however, optical flow didn't make such an induction. We discussed why the sensation of sound motion depended on the types of visual changing.
