Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes and evaluates a new haptic feedback remote controller that is able to point at a target by users finger direction and feel a target position by haptic feedback. Unlike a button controller, a touch panel and a trackball, our controller points a target more intuitively. The evaluation result of our controller shows that the haptic feedback makes a target pointing operation reliable and easy. We think our controller can be used for next generation home appliances user interface.
