| 抄録(和) | モーフィング技法を応用し, 平均顔に定量的に女性化ならびに子供化変形を施した画像を用いて, 男女各28名の評価者に顔の魅力度を判断させ, 魅力度評価の性差を検討した. 結果として, 女性顔の魅力度評価に関しては性差は見られなかったが, 男性顔については性差が見られた. 男性顔の魅力評価においては, 男性よりも女性の評価者がより強い子供化変形あるいは女性化変形を好むことがわかった. また, 女性化変形方向と子供化変形方向における偏好にも検討を加えた. 男性顔については女性化と子供化の変形方向の相違によって魅力度の変動(チューニング)に大きな違いは見られなかった. これに対し, 女性顔では女性化よりも子供化変形がより好まれ, 女性化変形では特定の変形割合をもつ顔の魅力度が高い, すなわちチューニングがより狭いことが判明した. |
| 抄録(英) | Using a morphing technique, average faces were quantitatively transformed into feminized or child-shaped composite images. Mate and female participants (28 university students for each) rated the facial attractiveness of the composite faces and the sex difference in attractiveness evaluation was investigated. As the result, we found that the female participants rated male faces more severely than the male participants and preferred the male faces that were more strongly transformed into feminized or child-shaped composite images. In contrast, such tendencies were not found in female faces. Next, the attractiveness ratings of all participants were compared between the feminized and the child-shaped faces. In the case of female faces, we found that the child-shaped images were preferred to the feminized images, while the tuning of evaluation was more strict and narrow for the degree of feminization. As for male faces, there were no large difference in the attractiveness ratings between the child-shaped and the feminized images. |
