Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe communication method with a robot using both language and gesture. If the robot understand language and gesture, he can be operated more naturally. When human operates a robot with language, there are some aambiguities in the language. It is difficult to specify an object using language only or gesture only. This ambiguity can be removed by using language and a gesture together. We have conduct a experiment with the four-legged robot. We command the robot by both language and gesture, and experimental results show that a robot can move to an object by easy operation like humman do.
