Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study was investigated how literal information and voice information in films were internally integrated.Firstly, forty-one subjects were exposed to one of nine stand-in films, and rated the impression of the specified character using SD(semantic differential)method.Secondly, other twenty-seven subjects rated the impression of the same character in the stand-in films after they viewed the same scene in the prime film, which had one of three kinds of the literal information. The result of factor analysis led to three factors named respectively, inside character, superficial character, and intimacy. When the prime film was presented, the impression of superficial character faded independent of the literal information, and the impression of intimacy became diversified when the subjects gave the literal information to help understanding of the scenes.
