Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we investigated the cross-dimensional interference effect on the same or different judgement of two tones successively pressented. In the experiment, subjects instructed to attend to pitch or timbre of two successive tones. The experimental results showed that the change of timbre of two tones reduced the rate of correct judgement of pitch attended to by subjects, and vice versa. The other results said that the interference effect seemed to be asymmetric one and deteriorated the correctness of judgment of non-musicians.
