| 抄録(和) | 中心後回の体性感覚野は、ホモンクルスで有名な体部位局在的再現がある3野とその後方の1, 2, 5の各領野からなる。3野は一次の感覚野であり、他の領野は機能的にさらに後方の頭頂連合野に移行する高次感覚野あるいは感覚連合野である。この皮質領域で皮膚と深部の情報統合、身体両側の情報の統合、体性感覚と視覚の統合などが起こることが最近行なった我々の研究から明らかになった。これらの観察の意義について触覚認識および自己認識との関係で論じる。 |
| 抄録(英) | Our single neuronal receptive field studies in awake monkeys have established that areas 1, 2 and 5 in the postcentral gyrus are associative while area 3 is a primary sensory receiving area. Our recent studies revealed that in areas 2 and 5, the integration of neural signals of different submodalities, those from different regions of the forelimb, from the forelimb and trunk, from both sides of the body, and finally the integration of visual and somatosensory signals. Implication of these observations in tactile perception and awareness of self is discussed. |
