Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cut Detection is used for moving pictures searching in conventional ways. this paper describes a new moving pictures search by real-time handwritten annotation tassels. Handwritten annotations written on moving pictures over picture frames become tassels and the overrun tassels become cues for moving pictures searching. Once users click the overrun tassels, correspondent frames are viewed including the annotated regions. A moving pictures searching prototype shows that users can easily annotate on moving pictures in real time and can easily search correspondent frames using handwritten tassels.
