Abstract(in English) | We present an upright fromtal face detection system based on dynamic symmetry filter and a cluster analysis. Because the dynamic symmetry filter uses orientations of gradient vectors of intensity only, the output of the filter is robust to the different lighting conditions. A lot of face images whose scale have been normalized are used in the cluster analysis. To obtain centers of clusters, firstly, we apply the dynamic symmetry filter to the face images; secondly, the output images of the filter are used to obtain the centers of clusters by MacQuenn'k-means method.The dynamic symmetry filter and centers of clusters are used in face detection processing.The validity of our system and the comparison with other researches are given in this paper. |
