Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper propose a method for separating sound sources from a mixture signal of musical tones. We use real sound instead of MIDI sound frequently used in conventional works. Real tones have unstable frequency distribution, and some real tones contain frequency modulation which is not appeared in MIDI tones used by conventional works. Clues for separation are harmonic structure, onset synchronousness, and similarity of timbre. Knowledges of each musical instruments are not used as a clue for separation. Tones are separated by grouping frequency elements in spectrogram. We show experimental results demonstrating that harmonic structure are well recovered from a mixture signal by the proposed method for mixed signals.
