| 抄録(和) | 色成分が輝度成分よりも遅れて知覚されるため、運動パターンの色成分は、輝度成分と比較して、運動方向と反対に空間的にずれて知覚される場合がある。本研究では、輝度成分が矩型波状に変調されているときは、輝度・色成分の位相のずれが予想されるものよりも小さくなることを明らかにした。この傾向は、速度条件、輝度・色コントラスト条件に関わりなくみられた。この結果から、輝度成分が矩型波状に変調されている場合には、輝度・色成分の相体位相を一致させるような相互作用が働くことが示唆される。また、このような相互作用は、比較的低い周波数の高調波が存在すれば働きうることが示唆された。 |
| 抄録(英) | We have previously shown that the perceived brightness-color profiles of a moving pattern may be distorted because of longer processing time required for chromatic signals. Neverthless, such a distortion is rarely experienced in natural circumstances. In this study, we showed that the perceived phase lag of the chromatic component was relatively small when the luminance component was square-wave. The amount of phase lag was relatively independent of drifting velocity and contrast. This suggests that the perceived phase of the chromatic component may be locked by the phase of the luminance square-wave component. Furthermore, the phase-locking effect depended on the presence of only the first few higher harmonics. |
