| 抄録(和) | 図形の大きさや形が幾何学的なものとは異なって見える幾何学的錯視図形には視覚系の情報処理の基本的なメカニズムが反映されていると考えられ, その解明の重要な手がかりを与えていると考えられる. これらの錯視の一つの説明として, 図形がもたらす奥行き感により, 大きさの恒常性の効果によって生じるとする考えがある. ここでは代表的な4種の錯視図形に注目し, 奥行き感と錯視量との関わりについて考察した. 2次元平面内における錯視量を計測する一方, これらの図形において生じていると考えられる奥行き量を求め, 両者の関連を調べた. この結果, 両者の相関の大小により2つのグループに分離され, 図形により奥行き感とのかかわの程度に相違のあることが認められた. |
| 抄録(英) | Geometrical optical illusions are believed to give important clues to elucidate information processing mechanism of vision. Attention is paid to the relation between magnitude of illusion and depth information induced by nearby figure. Four kinds of illusion figures are jnvestigated. On one side, the magnitude of illusion in 2 dimensional space is measured, and on the other hand, the quantity of induced depth is mesured. Correlation of the experimental results shows that those figures are divided into two groups: one having large coefficient of correlation and the other having smaller one. |
