| 抄録(和) | 最近の表情認知に関する心理学研究には、いくつかの変化が生じている。その1つは研究手法上の変化である。コンピュータによる画像処理技術を応用することによって、これまでは困難であった多様な刺激画像の作成が可能になり、中間表情の認知や表情の動きが認知におよぼす影響等の研究が開始されている。また、情動表出の媒体としての表情、という従来の見方に対して、他者に対する意図や態度を伝達するメッセージとしての表情という視点からの表情認知研究が始まっている。本稿では、コミュニケーションのおける表情の機能を分析した最近の研究を紹介し、今後の研究課題について論じた。 |
| 抄録(英) | Recently there has been some changes in the psychological research on facial recognition. One of them is the introduction of a new methodology of manipulating facial images by computer. This progress makes it possible to construct various intermediate images of facial expressions and the research has started to examine the recognition processes of facial expressions using these images. Another change is a theoretical one. New lines of research which emphasize the importance of the communicative functions of facial expression have started and the relating research topics were discussed. |
