As an example of applying this technology, we have developed the facial caricaturing technology. The facial feature is extracted robustly by the computer vision technology for the kind of various races and the face and hairs, and it is possible to draw in the likeness automatically by the part selection, the part arrangement and the part transformation rule using a fuzzy inference by the style of painting such as two or more caricaturists, illustrators, and comic artists. It is also possible to represent the facial expression, and to add a body, background, glasses and accessories without senses of incompatibility. These technology can be applied to the human-machine interface and the amusement field, etc.
