Generating Subjective Impression for the Face using Genetic Algorithm

Abstract(in English) The goal of almost every method of generating facial images is to generate facial images faithfully or to generate expression. However there are few methods to generate facial image according to subjective impression. In this work, we developed a facial image generating system based on a genetic algorithm. Images of different poses were generated using the system, to examine viewpoint dependence of subjective impression. As a result, we found that a 45 degree view is superior to the other view for generating facial images of a specified subjective impression.
