Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a method and a prototype system for video browsing to retrieve multimedia data which contains not only image but also text, voices, sounds, characters and so on. The system must be able to easily retrieve information using the relations between different types of information. We also want to retrieve information using high abstract keys which made it easy feels for humans to recognize scenes in a video. We developed a prototype system which is able to retrieve a scene by an action name, words, a position on the stage of the Noh video using camera operation.
