| Abstract(in English) | A medical interview sheet has an important role in obtaining information about a patient in every medical treatment situation. In the previous study we reported the structure for a dental medical interview sheet in Japanese. The present report focuses on a signed language interview sheet for deaf patients and addresses two issues: 1) Correspondence between Japanese words and explanations, and signed language words and expressions. 2) Relation of Japanese and signed language explanations from the viewpoint of language modality. Furthermore, the appropriateness of signed language expressions was considered from the point of being easy to understand for majority of deaf people. |
