A Study on Chinese Facial Expressions : Facial Expressions in Interview

Abstract(in English) Chinese facial expressions seem to be not examined well enough. The present study aimed at examining the Chinese interviewee's facial expressions by using Morishita (2000)'s recording methods of facial expressions : Interview. The result was classified into four types; (A)Eyes and head movement, (B)smile, (C)brow movement and (D)others. Type A occupied 64.3% of all facial displays, type B made up 18.8%, type C made up 8.7% and type D made up 8.2%
