| 抄録(和) | 本研究では, 無表情(neutral facial expression)の知覚についての基礎的な検討を行った.第1実験では, 線画表情を用いて実験参加者に無表情を描画させた.第2実験では, 第1実験で得られた無表情と, 先行研究より見出された基本6表情(喜び, 驚き, 恐れ, 悲しみ, 怒り, 嫌悪)を表す線画の間でmorphingをかけ, 無表情から表情まで線形的に20段階で変化させ, それを連続的に提示した.そして実験参加者の判断課題から得らた評定値を元に無表情と表情を区別する閾を抽出し, その閾値を表情の視覚的情報空間に示すことにより, 無表情空間を同定した. |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper we investigated the perception of neutral facial expression using schematic faces. In Experiment 1 participants were asked to alter the characteristics of a schematic face until they perceived it as being emotionally neutral. In Experiment 2 we presented morphed schematic faces which changed gradually from neutral to each one of the six basic emotions (happiness, surprise, fear, sadness, anger, and disgust). Images were presented in successive orders from neutral to emotional, and vice versa. Participants were asked to indicate the first image which they perceived as expressing an emotion. Using these data we identified the neutral expression area in the two-dimensional space of visual information. |
