Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposed an approach to automatic motion generation of 3D spring model with music. Music factors could be extracted from MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface) file. Instead of designing and calculating animation of an object directly, sequence of motion-controllers, which can finish a set of motions affected by music factors, are automatically generated through a synthesis algorithm. A prototype system was developed for evaluation and it was confirmed that the users were relatively satisfied with the generated motion based on music.
