| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、表情の提示時間を操作した2つの実験を報告する。実験1では、驚き、喜び、怒り、恐れ、嫌悪、悲しみの6表情の提示時間を、4msから64msまでを4ms毎に16段階に分けて設定し、何の表情に見えたかを強制選択法で回答させた。反応率について双対尺度法による分析の結果、2成分が抽出され、反応の布置から誘意性と覚醒として関連づけて解釈された。また、笑いおよび驚きや恐れなど覚醒の高い表情は、比較的短い提示時間でも認識されうることが示された。実験2は実験1の結果を拡張することを目的とし、興奮や平穏などの快表情を追加した。実験1と類似した結果が得られたが、課題要求の違いを反映すると思われる違いも見られた。 |
| 抄録(英) | Present report includes two studies in which exposure duration of facial expressions of emotion was manipulated. In Exp.1, participants observed facial photographs presented with varying durations of exposure, ranging from 4 ms to 64ms at a 4ms step and answered what was appeared. A dual scaling analysis extracted two major components that interpreted as valence and arousal. Results revealed that a positive emotion and a highly aroused emotion such as surprise and fear were easily recognized under a relatively brief exposure of the stimuli. Exp.2 replicated and extended the findings of Exp.1, although different task demands might lead to somewhat discrepancy. |
