| 抄録(和) | 本研究は, 表情表出パターンと性格特性との関連性を分析する試みである.被験者はMASによって高不安特性群と低不安特性群に分けられ, 3パターンの異なる指示の仕方で顔写真を撮影された.分析Iでは, 写真の指示の仕方によって表情表出パターンが, 不安特性の高-低でどのように異なるのかを調べた.その結果, 特に口元, 左顔部, 左右の非対称性において, 両群の表情表出が異なることが示された.実験Iと・では, 他者の表情から不安特性及び表情そのものの不安の高さを, どのように判断しているのがを調べた.その結果, 写真に表出された口元の情報から, その人の不安特性及び表情そのももの不安の高さを読み取っていることが示された.これらの結果から, 不安特性に関しては, 表情表出パターンと性格特性とは高い相関があり, 表情から他者の性格を判断できることが示唆された. |
| 抄録(英) | The purpose of this study is to investigate correlation between personality and physical traits of facial expressions. In this study, subjects were divided into two groups on the basis of MAS(manifest anxiety scale), and were taken pictures under three different conditions. In Analysis I, we examined how facial expressions differ between high-anxiety and low-anxiety groups. The results showed that facial expressions differed between two groups especially in mouth, left half of the face, and asymmetry of the face. In Experiment I and II, we investigated whether human beings could identify one's anxiety trait and apparent anxiety in facial expressions only on the basis of its facial expressions. The results showed that one's anxiety trait and apparent anxiety could be detected through its mouth. From these results, human beings can recognize one's personality through its facial expressions. |
