| 抄録(和) | 人はしばしば感情に伴う表情を意図的に押え, 本来の感情とは異なった態度を表明することがある.これは我々の社会生活において, 他者との必要以上の情動的な衝突を避け, 円満な関係を形成するために有効な手段となる.近年の画像処理技術や表情認知に関する研究の発展により, コンピュータの画面上に仮想的な人の顔を表示させ, 人同様の表情を生成させることが可能になってきた.そこで本研究では, CG顔による表情表出が人の社会的態度に与える影響を心理実験を通して検討した.その結果, 社会的に望ましい発言に対してCG顔が不快な表情を表出させた場合には負の印象を与えてしまい, 逆に社会的に望ましくない発言に対してCG顔が快感情に基づく表情を表出させた場合には, より高い正の印象を与えることが示唆された. |
| 抄録(英) | Humans often conceal their emotion by exhibiting different facial expression than what they actually feel. This incongruent behavior can sometimes be useful in avoiding social conflict with others. Recent development in image processing technologies and facial expression studies provide us with a possibility to generate CG synthesized faces exhibiting various emotion. In this study, we examined the effect of synthesized emotional facial expressions on human social attitudes. Our experimental result indicated that people tend to respond negatively when a CG synthesized face interviewer expresses a positive expression when they expect a positive feedback, whereas, conversely, people tend to respond positively when the interviewer expresses a positive expression when they expect a negative feedback. |
