| 抄録(和) | 本稿では, 視覚シンボルによるコミュニケーションのひとつのシステム日本版PICの424語から1071語への絵単語の語彙増加に関する過程とそれらの絵単語を活用するために開発された専用コンピュータ・ソフトの概要を紹介する。増加語彙の単語の選定は, 主としてコミュニケーション障害の領域での臨床現場でのニーズを重視するとともに、各種の言語検査や発達検査で用いられている単語などを参考に、大きく分けて6カテゴリーに属する647語単語が新たに選定された。また、シンボルの作成にあたっては, これまでの黒の背景に白抜きのシルエット像で示される概念表出シンボルであるPICシンボルの特徴を維持させるため, 5つのデザイン上の基準が考案された。 |
| 抄録(英) | The main purpose of the present study is to reveal the procedure of increasing the vocabulary of a certain communication system named Japanese version of PIC. Six hundred and forty-seven new words were selected and the corresponding concept-related symbols were designed from the five criteria we set. Priority was given to the clinical needs in the field of communication disorders although we adopted some important words already employed in standardized tests for language and development. The application program was also introduced to retrieve, compile, and print these newly developed symbols as well as already-existing 424 symbols. Other similar programs which were developed in Sweden and the US were also discussed. |
