| 抄録(和) | 本研究は,線画図形を用いて顔刺激に特異な視覚誘発電位(Visual Evoked Potential;VEP)の変化のパターンについて検討した.実験1では,頂点潜時約200msecの陽性成分(P170)において,刺激条件における段階的な顔らしさの増加に対応してVEP成分の陽性振幅の増強が観察された.実験2では,顔らしさとは異なる意味情報を持つ幾何学図形を条件刺激として加え実験1と同様の検討を行ったところ,P170潜時帯において,顔らしさの増加とVEP成分の陽性振幅の増強との対応が観察されたが,顔らしさと異なる意味情報を持つ幾何学図形刺激に対しては有意な陽性振幅の増強は認められなかった.このことがらP170成分がより顔らしい刺激に特異な振幅の増強を示していることが示唆される. |
| 抄録(英) | We investigated visual evoked potentials (VEPs) elicited by schematic faces. In Experiment 1, the recorded VEPs indicated that the amplitudes of P170 components were intensified positively correspond to the increasing of the faceness on the different stimulus condition. Experiment 2 was carried out adding the geometrical figure condition as the non-facial stimulus condition. As a result, it was found that the amplitudes of P170 were not enhanced by the geometrical figures compared with the facial stimulus condition, so that the P170 components seemed to reflect some early stage in facial information processing. |
