Investigation of user adaptive methods for information navigation : Relations between users and information retrieval

Abstract(in English) The internet has been developing by leaps and bounds. And, the amount of information put on the internet has been increasing in great quantities. Therefore, the probability of information being concealed has been increasing. As a result, the following problems have arisen. i) It is difficult for users to retrieve necessary information. ii) Users must retrieve the necessary information by going through long lists of a huge amount of information. In this paper, a model which predicts the satisfaction index of users regarding information retrieval and contents listing methods was created on the basis of user's face sheets. This model was calculated based on the quantification method. As a result, information retrieval and contents listing methods suitable for users can be offered.
