Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the recent progress of information technology, highly adavanced computers have some into with use. However, alomost all of the computers should be operated by keyboard and mouse in front of the desks on which the computers are placed. So that, Head-attached Interface Device (HIDE) was proposed and has been under development as a new type of interface device in an actual work environment. The HIDE has flexible integrated functions which consist of hans-free input methods, direct presentation of visual / audio information, and portable system configuration. In this paper, the design concept of HIDE was first introduced, and individual functions to configure the design concept were developed and proposed by their separate testing. An integrated prototype system HIDE was then produced, and its functional evaluation test was mede to examine the individual functions as the whole system.
