Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a notion of visualizing semantic structure of topics discussed in order to support group discussion. We first present a human communication support system named CSS. This system visualizes users' thinking spaces by mapping text objects and keywords declared in those into metric spaces. We show two experimental results of using CSS. One is a result of visualizing topic space of a free discussion by a research group. Another is of a discussion made on a computer news system. The latter implies that CSS has potential to be used as graphical news browser.
