Abstract(in English) Signed language is a principal means of communication for deaf/hard of hearing people. The modality of the language is quite defferenf from spoken one. Learning signed language as a second langauge for hearing people is of great importance in realizing good communication environment in society. Signed language, however, has great variatiton. In this report we first review certain aspect of signed language used in Japan. We then discuss certain computerized lexicon and how we can use this kind of computer organized system for signed language learinig.
