Abstract(in English) | The structure of inner ear is complicated, as is indicated by its alternative name of labyrinth. The vestibular receptor in the inner ear is comprised by the otolith-apparatus for detecting the linear acceleration such as the gravity, and the 3-semicircular canals for detection the spinal acceleration. Those organs have been developed phylogeneticaly. I start to explain the early genetical structure of gravity receptor, showing the otolith-apparatus of jellyfish. Secondly, the structure and function of human vestibular organs, the metabolism of otolith-apparatus and the relationships between those organs and the central nervous system, etc., are interpreted through my morphological and physiological works. Lastly, the clinical pathology of vertiginous attack and the human orientation in the cosmic space are referred. |
