| 抄録(和) | 画像中の人物の顔を検出する処理は, 個人識別, 人物の計数などにおいて重要である. 本報告では位置, 大きさ, および回転角度が不明な, 任意方向を向いた人物の顔を静止階調画像から検出する一手法を提案する. 本手法はさまざまな角度を向いた顔のテンプレートを, 原画像上で位置, 大きさ, 回転角度を変えながら重ねるパターンマッチングに基づいている. このプロセスに遺伝的アルゴリズムを適用することによりマッチングの回数が膨大になることを避け, また原画像を微分した画像を用いることにより抽出精度の向上を図っている. |
| 抄録(英) | Positioning human facial regions in images can be used for various fields such as person identification, counting of humans and so on. In this report, we propose a method to extract facial regions in still gray images in which the directions, positions, sizes, and rotational angles of human faces are unknown. This method is based on pattern matching using facial templates of various directions. To avoid a vast number of matching, we apply a genetic algorithm to this process, and to improve accuracy of extraction, we use differential images of original ones. |
