| 抄録(和) | コンピュータを応用した装置が, それを操作する人間の困り状態を自ら察知して適切ないたわり行動を発動するシステムの実現を目的として, 困り状態であるか否かを認識する手法の基礎的な検討を行った. 機械を操作中の人間は感情を表情ではなく, 主に行動パターンとして表出する. そこでまず困り状態における行動がどのようなものであるかを実験的に把握した. 次に行動を認識するための画像処理手法として両瞳に着目して, 上半身の動きを左右の瞳の動きとそれらの相互位置関係を表す時系列ベクトルで表し, 実用上安定に動作する撮像系と画像処理アルゴリズムを開発した. 6種類の基本行動についてダイナミックプログラミングを適用した認識手法を開発し, 所要時間などで満足な結果が得られた. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a method for recognizing human state in difficulty based on the detection of basic actions by obtaining positions and an angle of pupils in the image sequence. First, We investigated the human actions of difficulty revealed in the operation of word processing. Then, based on these sets of results, the image processing system are constructed. In the system, polarized near-infrared illumination is used to detect pupils easily, and the processing speed is enhanced by reducing image data. The actions are converted to the series of vectors which has the moving speed of head as the elements. Actions are recognized by comparing standard patterns of vector sequences using DP matching. The method can be applied to develop the software which automatically responses when the operator falls in difficulty. |
